20 years of wishing for something better
Our co-creator, Lori Levy, has spent over 20 years as a speech-language pathologist — working in hospitals, clinics, schools, and private practice. In that time, she's used dozens of tools. Some were great at one thing but fell short at everything else. None brought it all together in one place.
Meanwhile, families were stuck with outdated photocopies and “homework” that felt like a chore. SLPs were juggling five different subscriptions just to piece together a decent therapy session. We knew it was time to build the platform we always wished existed.

Lori B. Levy is a nationally certified (ASHA) and state licensed/insured speech-language pathologist who earned her M.A. in Communicative Disorders/Speech Language Pathology from the University of Central Florida in 2003. Over a career spanning more than 20 years, she has worked across hospitals, clinics, home health, elementary, middle, and high schools, and private practice. She specializes in oral motor and feeding disorders and is highly experienced with developmental delays, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, medically fragile children, language disorders, fluency disorders, and articulation and phonological disorders. Having worked closely with occupational therapists for years, Lori is a strong advocate for a collaborative team approach. She owns A Brainy Choice Inc. and has created several educational apps. After two decades of using every speech therapy tool on the market, she co-created SpeechTherapyMagic to bring everything she wished existed into one modern platform — built for how SLPs actually work in 2026.
