How it works
Three steps, no setup
- 01
Choose sound, position, level
R in the initial position, easy words. Or S-blends, final, hard. Every combination has a set ready.
- 02
Swipe and say
Picture, word, a tap to hear it. Say it out loud, swipe to the next. Ten cards or a hundred, your call.
- 03
Score the hard ones
Take the same words into pronunciation practice when you want a score and a tip. Flashcards stay quick, pressure-free drill.
What you get
A real word bank
Built from a pronouncing dictionary, age-of-acquisition ratings and word-frequency data, then reviewed by an SLP. Not a list someone typed.
Easy, medium, hard
Difficulty comes from when children typically learn a word and how common it is, so “easy” really is easier for a five-year-old.
Pictures for the words that need them
Illustrated cards for the high-frequency practice nouns, so pre-readers can play too.
Hear every word
Tap to hear a clear model of the word before saying it. Good for kids, and for parents unsure of the target.
Print a list
Every set is also a printable word list and a worksheet generator, for the car, the fridge or the therapy folder.
Same words everywhere
The word bank behind the flashcards is the one the games, worksheets and pronunciation practice use, so a set you drilled is the set you get scored on.
Free word lists
Every sound and position as a plain list you can read or print. No account needed.

Which sounds are covered?
All 23 English consonant sounds worked on in speech therapy, including /r/, /s/, /l/, /th/, /sh/, /ch/, /j/, /k/, /g/, /f/, /v/ and /zh/, each in initial, medial and final position where English has words for it.
Where do the words come from?
The bank is derived from the CMU Pronouncing Dictionary, Kuperman age-of-acquisition ratings and the SUBTLEX-US frequency corpus, so difficulty reflects when kids learn a word and how often they hear it. Words an SLP has rejected are kept out for good.
Do I need an account?
The word lists and printable worksheets are free without one. The swipeable flashcards with audio are part of the free account.
Does every card have a picture?
The high-frequency practice nouns do, over 2,000 of them. Abstract and less common words show the word with audio instead of a picture.
Can I use them in a session?
Yes. They run in any browser, so a set works on a tablet across the table, a Chromebook, or a screen share in teletherapy.
