The Digital SLP vs Boom Cards vs SpeechTherapyMagic
The verdict, up front
Pick The Digital SLP for one curated PreK–8 library with nothing else to buy, Boom Cards for the biggest library and the cheapest entry, and SpeechTherapyMagic if you are a parent or SLP with a small caseload who wants each spoken word scored ($9.99/month or $79.99/year).
Both are ways to go no-print. The Digital SLP ($329/year) is one curated membership with homework sheets and QuickLinks for families. Boom is a marketplace: the membership ($29.99 to $69.99 a year) is cheap, but the decks cost extra. Neither gives feedback on how a word was said.
We build SpeechTherapyMagic and are not affiliated with The Digital SLP or Boom Learning. Their facts were checked on their own sites in October 2026.

The short version
The Digital SLP and Boom Cards are both materials. The difference is the cost model: one curated membership against a cheap platform plus a store. If you already own a pile of Boom decks, switching means leaving them behind; if you don’t, The Digital SLP is the simpler budget line.
SpeechTherapyMagic is not a replacement for either library. It adds the part neither does: listening to the word. See the SpeechTherapyMagic vs Boom Cards page for the head-to-head, or the Boom Cards alternatives guide.
