Speech Therapy MagicOur product
Best for: school-age kids practising a speech sound between sessions
Pick your child's sound (R, S, L, TH and the rest) and they play games where each word is said into the microphone and scored, with a sound-by-sound breakdown and a plain-language tip. Every attempt lands on a progress chart by sound, so you can see the week's practice at a glance. If your child's SLP uses it, they can send a home practice link with the exact targets and games, which your child opens without an account while you mark each word.

What it does well
- Gives a parent who is unsure what a correct sound is a second opinion on each word
- Works on the family's existing devices, including Android tablets and Chromebooks
- Illustrated stories loaded with your child's sound for reading together
Honest limitation: Built for children of about four and up who have a sound to work on, so it is not the right first app for a toddler who is not yet talking much. The pronunciation score is a practice signal, not a diagnosis. It scores against a fixed set of speech sounds, so a distortion (an almost-right R, a lisped S) is not reliably told apart from a correct sound, and an adult's ear still decides. Our published benchmark shows where it falls short.
