The "sh" sound is one of the later-developing English consonants, and children often replace it with "s" ("sip" for "ship") or "ch" ("chip" for "ship"). This deck targets /sh/ at the beginning of words, where it is easiest to hear and produce, with twenty short activities that move from listening to saying to spelling.
Eight flashcards each show a picture, the printed word and a Hear it button so the child hears a clear model before recording their own attempt. Three picture quizzes ask them to find the /sh/ word among distractors. Two spell-it cards build phonological awareness by filling in the missing letters, and two which-did-you-hear cards contrast ship/chip and sheep/jeep — the exact substitutions therapists see most. A sort, a spinner and a syllable counter round out the set so the same words come back in new formats.
Every word was checked against age-of-acquisition norms so nothing is above a four-year-old's vocabulary, and each picture is a friendly cartoon on a farm background.

How to Use It
Start with the flashcards and model each word first: say it slowly, exaggerate the lip rounding, then let the child tap Hear it and try. Most children need three to five attempts per word, so use the record button and replay the recording together.
Once the child can say the words in isolation, move to the picture quizzes and the listening cards. If they choose "chip" when they heard "ship", go back to the flashcard for that word and contrast the two sounds side by side.
Finish with the spinner and syllable counter as a reward round. The whole deck takes about ten minutes; for a quick home-practice session, share it by PIN and have the family play just the first ten cards.
